Hungary Became a Global Hub for Motorsport This Summer

From July 25 to 27, the Hungarian round of the Superbike World Championship took place at the Balaton Park Circuit in Balatonfőkajár. The event attracted top-tier motorsport attention, drawing thousands of sports fans to the races. The event was co-organized by the National Event Management Agency Nonprofit Co. Ltd.
The year 2025 marks a milestone for Hungarian circuit racing, as both the Superbike and MotoGP calendars have included Hungarian rounds this year. During the Superbike weekend held at the end of July, races were held in three categories: over-1000cc Superbike motorcycles, women’s Superbike riders, and under-1000cc Supersport motorcycles. This marked the return of elite motorsport to Hungary after nearly three decades and was also the 1000th race in the history of the championship.
The National Event Management Agency played a key role in organizing the event, ensuring that fans of circuit racing could participate in a truly world-class experience—both from the perspective of the competitors and the spectators.
The series of premium sporting events continues from August 22 to 24 with MotoGP, also held at the Balaton Park Circuit in Balatonfőkajár. The promoter and organizer of the event is HUMDA Hungarian Mobility Development Agency Ltd., with the National Event Management Agency Nonprofit Co. Ltd. acting as co-organizer.
